The Opportunity
Our ACR team is part of our integrated tax practice and links closely into our range of taxation services including indirect, employment and corporate tax. Our ACR team provides statutory accounting, management accounting and tax accounting services to a wide range of countries across APAC.
Your key responsibilities:
As an ACR Manager, you will play a critical role in setting up the multi country/group statutory reporting process. The role requires demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing team. Proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Statutory Compliance process from data gathering and validation through GAAP bridging between Group GAAP (US GAAP/ IFRS) and local GAAP to support in the preparation of Statutory Financial Statements. Work closely with Global Engagement leaders for consistency in management reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting etc. Provide outstanding contribution/support to consulting with engagement teams on all compliance and reporting activities.
Skills and attributes for success:
- Strong understanding of IFRS and/or USGAAP and key accounting concepts
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Strong experience in handling APAC clients/business
- Experience in process improvement and re-engineering
- Experience in handling accounting in AP countries
- Stakeholder and issue management skills
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Degree in Accountancy, must be CPA
- 8 - 10 years strong managerial experience in Shared Services Center (SSC) environment particularly Record to Report (R2R) - general accounting
- People Management skills (able to handle 20+ staff) and Project Management skills
- Must be willing to work in McKinley Hill, Taguig
Ideally you must have:
- Experience in financial reporting using Oracle and MS Navision is a plus
