Career Framework Role Description
- Leads aspects of the design of new digital user experiences and enhancement to existing digital experiences, leveraging strong knowledge of the user experience journey
- Produces complex wireframes and prototypes to enhance the level of engagement and satisfaction that a user derives from the product, independently executing on the design strategy as guided by more senior team members
Responsibilities
- Produces wireframes, site maps, journey maps and clickable prototypes, taking into account user needs and user journeys to execute small to medium-sized design efforts
- Reviews project deliverables of more junior team members, ensuring that the voice of the client is integrated into the delivery approach, escalating issues where appropriate
- Utilizes user-centered research methods to drive product insight and innovation
- Presents to and collaborates with clients on findings from design efforts
- Oversees team activities to achieve defined deliverables and satisfy users through design and leads the delivery of small to medium-sized design efforts
- Organizes meetings and workshops that align with project phase and client goals
- Identifies potential business opportunities on existing projects
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- Sound knowledge of UX design: Wireframes, Information Architecture, Usability
- Strong understanding of Sketch, Invision, Adobe Suite
- Strong understanding of experience design principles and processes
Experience
- Relevant UX design experience in a web and/or digital product environment
